1985 Huffaker Pontiac Race Car For Sale
1985 Huffaker Pontiac, running original Huffaker stamped block, 355 ci, built by Tony Oddo. Car restored in 2009 and has placed second in each of the last two Sonoma Historic Races. Spare set of body panels and molds, and an extra set of wheels. Runs 1:40s at Infineon.
12/7/2011 Update and Price Reduction.
The engine has just been freshened and the car is in race-ready condition, in preparation for the upcoming Sonoma Historics in June (this car is entered in the event for the third time).
This can be your chance to join the late Trans Am/IMSA GTO race group with a turn-key, very correct and competitive car at an exceptionally low price. Most likely you will be able to run in the June Event, and still have time for a few test sessions before the race weekend.

Ex-Raymond Irwin IMSA GT (1991 Daytona 24HR)
Originally built by Paul DePirro in 1985 and raced in the 1985 Trans Am series. 6 T/A races in 85; have original logbook issued in 4/85 at Firebird T/A race. Ran IMSA in 1986 and sold to Raymond Irwin in 1987. In 1990 was converted to Olds Cutlass bodywork (originally Camaro) and raced in 1991 Daytona 24 hour race with Boris Said, Lou Gigliotti, Paul Cunningham, Mike Nolan and Roger Schram driving; qualified 3rd in GTO and finished 7th.
