1989 Newman-Sharp Trans Am Series Oldsmobile Cutlass
Scott Sharp’s first full season car in Trans Am Series. Only Irv Hoerr wide five Buick Indy V-6 car on Newman-Sharp team. Paul Newman test drove one of Irv’s cars and had to have one for the team. Extensive research has been done on this car and it now comes with a nice period correct Cutlass body that’s comes with all the mounts and brackets to remount. Two and a half more bodies go with the package for spares, as well as, 5 extra sets of wide five wheels and 4 aluminum radiator/brake duct noses. Its current state is as found roller with wildwood calipers and rotors. Penske shocks in front but none in rear. Has rearend and driveshaft and many other misc. parts, but no engine or trans. Comes with original log book and all set up sheets for the races it was in. Paul Newman is noted in the records testing the car with Scott Sharp. These cars are appreciating in value rapidly and especially with the start up of the Trans Am series again this year.
